4/5  Scottish Maggie 'I bought this item for a Christmas gift. I prefer wooden toys as I believe they are more durable. The toy is fairly good quality. However, a square cardboard "pond" mat was provided, which has to be folded to fit inside the container the toy came in. Perhaps a mat in (washable/wipeable) fabric would be better, and less likely to be damaged through repeated folding. Also, might a round pond mat be more aesthetically pleasing?'

4/5  Nell 'I bought this for my two year old grandson. It's very good quality, two wooden fishing rods and wooden fish with interesting painted detail. We don't use the card picture mat, but fish out of the tub they are stored in. The inside of the tub could have had an underwater seascape. A much more expensive version from an online toy shop came with four rods and I would have paid a bit more for that option with this product. We'll have fun with this.'
