These cute animal themed Chad Valley Wooden Skittles are a great way to encourage your most cherished to be active and get some exercise; they can knock out as many skittles as they can, either playing on their own or with their friends. As well as being fantastic for active play and physical development, a brilliant by-product of this fun play is that it helps improve hand eye co-ordination and fine motor skills. Having previously used plastic skittles ( which are easily punctured/ squished until they don’t stand up straight) these are a big improvement. They come with a nice wooden ball. Check the size in the product description before purchasing - our two year old loves them but older children might think they are a bit too 'diddy’.'

My little boy doesn't quite get the aim of the game yet, but I don't think it will take him long. He loves looking at the animals and has a good go at knocking them over with the ball and if this isn't successful he crawls into them instead. The only improvement to these could be an extra wooden ball as I feel this will get lost.'
