Chad Valley Wooden Shaker Style Kitchen Reviews

5/5  Ginger 'Bought as a birthday present for my daughter and she loved it. Excellent features, like the tap and hob making a noise. Only thing that would improve it is some shelves inside the cupboards.'

5/5  SG 'My 2 year old was very pleased with this for his birthday. Comes with some pans and spoons, the tap and burners make a noise, the toaster can pop up toast (manually). Only downsides were it took my husband over two hours to construct, and if your child puts something beside the toast in the toaster (like the spoon) you have to take the back off to retrieve.'

5/5  SLU1994 'Easy enough to assemble, but definitely allow a couple of hours and two people ideally! Lots of little hidden gems - tap noises, stove noises and the little toaster pushed down and up as well as the ice machine. I really was blow away with this, especially for the price!'

5/5  Bristol17 'We ordered this a month ago for my daughter and she absolutely loves it. The kitchen is really good quality for the price. The only slight design issue is that it’s hard to get objects out of the toaster.'

5/5  Shan 'The number of batteries required are wrong in the description it’s 9 needed not 6.'

4/5  Akki 'My 3.5 year old loves this kitchen.. especially the light up hob and the ice dispenser. It took us a good 3 hours to put it together, the instruction booklet was missing the middle 4 sheets so we struggled quite a bit. I've given it only 4 stars because there's something not quite right with the toaster slot. It eats the toast and you cant get it back unless you open the side cabinet. We've fixed the issue by stuffing the space with some packaging material. It works just fine now. little one and her friends love it.'

5/5  Caz 'Bought a few weeks back. Well made kitchen! Yes there's lots of small parts to build up but they are numbered and instructions fine to follow. Took two and a half hours to build. Would recommend and buy again. PS... love all the working features!'

5/5  VW 'Amazing kitchen, very well thought and equipped. My daughter loves it, worth the price! It took a while to assemble, almost 3 hours of labour but was worth it in the end to see my daughter happy and play with it every day'

5/5  Cat35 'I got this for my 5 year old, who absolutely loves it! She plays with it almost daily and loves the light up and sounding hobs. We have a casdon washing machine she’s put under the sink and absolutely adores this kitchen! We had the corner version of this which she loved but was damaged so had to replace but I’m so glad I did. It was really easy to put together and I’m usually rubbish at stuff like this. She loves it, it’s great quality and I would definitely 100% recommend to anyone. We painted the back blue tiles and made them a dusky pink to suit her room. It’s really lovely!'

5/5  Ann 'Brought for our granddaughter when she comes to stay. This is a brilliant purchase. The hob lights up and makes a noise. All the knobs click when turned. The tap also makes the water sound. Definitely worth the money. Although takes a while to build. But good quality'

5/5  J 'Fantastic play kitchen with loads of features. Far better than a lot of the more expensive alternatives out there. You do need 9 little button batteries to get the tap and the hobs working but it’s they are a great feature. That and the ice dispenser keeps our child really entertained.'

5/5  Dickybird123 'This kitchen is great value with a lovely design (not too garish) but still stimulating for my toddler who loves it. It did take HOURS to put together - it came in numerous parts, flat packed (and it's quite heavy, if you are planning in-store collection). Screwdrivers and hammers, and batteries are required. The one thing that's missing is some shelves for the cupboards. The toaster design is a little problematic, with a huge gap for the pieces of toast to fall into and get trapped (along with other pieces). We stuffed the void with cardboard from the packaging to help with this.'

5/5  Brown Sugar 'Great Christmas present'

5/5  Parrott1992 'Christmas Day I rolled my sleeves up , got the toolbox out and began making a perfect little kitchen. Instructions easy to follow , and didn’t take too long to build. Overall my daughters love it , perfect present'

4/5  Helen 'Bought this as a present for daughters . They really like playing with it.'

5/5  LJB 'We bought this for our two year old daughter as a Christmas present. We are really impressed with the high quality of it. It is very sturdy and secure. Our daughter loves the noises of the taps and the light up hob rings- a great feature which a lot of other kitchens did not seem to have. The kitchen took about 2.5 hours to assemble and did require quite a lot of space to do so. It was missing one small locking nut but this does not affect use at all. I would recommend this kitchen to others and am very pleased with it.'

5/5  Pearse 'Wasn't any reviews when we purchased this. So happy with it. The quality is excellent and I know she will have hours of fun. It took my around 2hours to build. Alot of small parts so be prepared. Would definitely recommend.'

5/5  Fifi 'Very interactive plenty to keep you child entertained hours of fun with friends, solid and practical good quality'

5/5  Shannonloo 'Had a few toy kitchens in a space of a few years and so far this one is my favourite. It took me about a hour and a half to build. Instructions were easy as all the wood pieces are numbered The design is very cute and easy to use. The only problem i’m having is my son shoving food in the toaster and I’m not able to remove it'

5/5  Alextep 'I bought this as a present for my son, very happy with the purchase. Great activity, good quality.'

5/5  Sol 'My 18 month old loves this'

5/5  Stumpy 'Obviously at this time of year, this is still in its box. Box looks good though so 5* for that! Come on Argos, at this time of year, wait until January to ask for a review!!!'

3/5  Tash76 'Looks lovely but very fiddly to assemble and the mdf cracks in places. Not worth the high price'

5/5  S1 'This kitchen compared to others on the market is far superior. Took quite sometime to assemble but everything fitted into place nicely and all went together perfectly. Ice cube dispenser, and pop up toast are so good along with the water noise from the tap and the frying noise from the hob, which also auto glow when the pan is put on them. Needs nine LR 44 batteries. Kids love it.'

5/5  Lesley 'Loverly toy kitchen we bought for our 3 yrs old Granddaughter to play with at our house we have so much fun and we also thinks it teaches as we play It did Grandad a little bit of time to put together'

5/5  Vikki21 'Bought as an Xmas present for our daughter and I’m so excited to set it up! It comes flat packed which is ideal for fitting in the car and so many accessories! The price is unbeatable in comparison to other models!'

5/5  Kurtpoat 'Love it only thing was a pain was putting together'

5/5  Pammy 'Purchased as Christmas present for great granddaughter and great grandson. Promises hours of enjoyment'

5/5  Kaz 'I’ve bought the is Dh or my grandson very happy with it he loves it'

5/5  Kim 'I bought this for my grandaughter she loves the toaster and crackling oven rings also the tap that sounds like running water. It took a while to build but very sturdy and goid value for the money .'

5/5  Cs 'Really sturdy, love the features on it. Think I was more excited than my daughter lol.'

5/5  Megs23 'I bought this for my sons 2nd birthday. More than happy with it! Have built it up and wrapped up ready for him to open on his birthday( though he’s had a sneak peak already haha, and loves it!) I cannot wait for him to play with it properly! Such good quality and really easy to make in my opinion, taking me about an hour or two,, considering I’m 5 months pregnant. would 100% recommend!'
