Chad Valley Mud Kitchen Reviews

5/5  Mud Kitchen Fun 'Bought this for my 2yr old grandson in the summer, we varnished it so we could confidently leave it in the garden, set it up with items to explore and experiment, shelves, hooks and basin aided his play, great price to make him so happy.'

4/5  RaeRae 'I bought this product at a reduced price and I was worried that it would be to flimsy and small but I am Really pleased with the product, as it is quite sturdy and an ideal sized first Mud Kitchen for our little one. So Glad we got it, he loves it....'

1/5  Mck20 'Extremely disappointed took us multiple attempts and hours before it was finished. Totally ruined my expectations of Christmas morning eventually I had to give up trying and attempt again another day. Exceptionally sad I couldn’t deliver my toddler the gifts as anticipated and dampened my spirit considerably.'

5/5  et 'bought for grandson, easy to assemble and he loved it'

5/5  Enaj 'Was so easy to order thankfully'

3/5  Eileen 'It's nice but some of the screws could be better as some wouldn't stay in so had to buy different screws and before putting it outside you need to seal the wood or it won't last long'

5/5  Cressida 'Bought this for my grandson’s birthday in early November. We haven’t given it to him yet but it seems just what we expected at a reasonable price. We’re getting the pots and pans set for him for Christmas to complete the kitchen.'

5/5  Kerri_Louise 'Great solid piece of outdoor play equipment. Easy to assemble, looks fantastic and will keep my daughter entertained for hours 💜'

4/5  YorkieR 'Looks good and pretty solid now built. Instructions a little difficult to follow'

5/5  Annie 'This is an excellent little mud kitchen. Lovely, detailed features and very good value for money. Will need to be varnished for outdoor use however.'

5/5  Twin mama 'I brought this for my 3 year old twins and they love it! Took a little while to put together but is providing hours of fun. They love mixing their potions and making mud pies would deffo recommend'

5/5  WW 'I bought this for my grandkids ages 3/4 and 5, they love it! Keeps them occupied for hours, add a sand pit and you get endless sand pies and loads of mess, worth every penny!'

5/5  Zoe19 'I wanted to get my daughter a mud kitchen and looked online, this was the best value for money and easy to build. It’s exactly what I wanted for her and with a bit of paint to personalise it I am really happy with it.'

4/5  Arch 'This took a bit of putting together...it's very much a flat pack. Seems ok, although time will tell and we have varnished it as it just appears to be unfinished wood...which for outdoor use isn't ideal and won't last long. Time will tell how robust and long lasting it is , but the 3 year old it was purchased for was very impressed with it.'

5/5  Chrissie 'My grandkids love this mud kitchen and have been having so much fun whatever the weather'

5/5  Chelle 'Very simple, easy to put together. Great for my young grandchildren'

5/5  Dixie93 'We were looking for one of these ready for the summer, but bot the bullet and bought it a little earlier. So pleased we did - our daughter is out in the garden in all weathers (dressed appropriately!) playing with this. In a world with screens and non stop TV shows, it's lush just watching her using her imagination playing with this in the garden. We bought a couple of cheap utensils, garden herbs and pots and jazzed it up a bit too - means it doesn't stick out like a sore thumb too much in the garden'

5/5  Kaykay 'I got this for my son and he really loves playing with it. He is an outsider so brilliant way to get him to play in the dirt and learn at the same time.'

5/5  Grantie 'Bought this for Xmas and my granddaughter absolutely loved it. Warning- buy a tarpaulin as well.'

5/5  TJ 'I bought this several weeks ago as a surprise for my just 2 year old granddaughter and couldn’t be more pleased with it. My first attempt at putting something together without help; everything was clearly marked and it was only the lower slatted shelf that I had round the wrong way as I hadn’t realised the two sides were a different size. It would have been helpful for this to have been clearer in the instructions. Apart from that error, I completed the job within a couple of hours and my granddaughter hasn’t stopped playing with it ever since!'

4/5  Lots44 'Quite overpriced for what it is, but my nephew loves it.'

4/5  Dachshund25 'Was a little tricky to put together as the holes didn’t line up but once together it’s a good. Do recommend putting a clear waterproof varnish on to protect it and help it last longer. But my little boy loves it.'

4/5  Nanny 'Took me half an hour to put together by myself. Fairly clear instructions. Bought for my granddaughter's 2nd birthday, and she loves it - very messy!! 😅'

5/5  Sasha 'I bought this for my Grandson and he absolutely loves it.'

5/5  Kat02 'We bought this for a daughter's 3rd birthday and it's great! Straight forward to put together and versatile for kids to play with. Love that the bowl is removable and the hooks and blackboard are great features.'

4/5  Jmud 'Study when assembled. Easy to assemble.'

5/5  Gan Gan Pete 'Live this kitchen. My granddaughter can’t get outside quick enough to use this mud kitchen and it keeps her occupied for hours on end. Best thing we gave ever bought her, highly recommend'

5/5  Morag 'Bought this for our grandson, he absolutely loves it. Nice enough to be in the house in winter, can’t wait till it’s outdoors and getting messy. Very sturdy, easy to put together but follow instructions!'

5/5  Dave 'Was xmas pressant little on loves it.'

4/5  Genty 'I got this for my sons Christmas and he loves it'

5/5  Mark 'Excellent quality and value for money'

5/5  Tina 'Bought this a month ago for a gift. Really pleased with it. Kids love this mud kitchen'

5/5  JulieRoo222 'I bought this mud kitchen for my grandkids and they love it as most kids love playing in the mud'

5/5  Emmy 'I bought this for my kids to enjoy the garden more. I've added some stainless steel and plastic accessories and painted it to give it a bit of life. It does blow over easily in the wind but it's fab'

5/5  steve 'Great quality and great price exceeded out expectations following research in to the mud kitchen. Grand daughter loves this in sun rain hail and snow.'

1/5  Auntie 'Assembly of it was not good, screw holes out of sync, cup hook holder would not stay in so we had to super glue it in and once finished it actually was not straight if you looked down on it. Not good wood so not advisable to leave outside. Glad we had paid promotion price.'

5/5  Grandma 'I bought this for my grandchildren for Easter they absolutely love it. It the most used garden toy of the moment'

2/5  Sandy 'It’s ok if they made it with better wood it would have been excellent. Wood is very light and no strength to at all. When building it a few bits split with the screws. I thought screw’s weren’t long enough as when building it the parts I had screwed together fell apart. I had to improvise when building it.'

5/5  Di 'Bought this for my Grandaughter to play in my garden. It's a great buy for the money, she loves it.'

4/5  Pammysue 'This is a great looking mud kitchen. My 3 year old grandson loves it. I think I will need to varnish or paint it at some stage just to protect the wood but it is still good as is.'

3/5  Lewi 'Screws missing , the frame didn’t match up with the posts'

3/5  vet 'I bought this for my grand daughter- I hope she will get good use from it. We did need to tie it to a structure as is quite light and blows over in wind outside.'

4/5  chris 'Nice item my granddaughter loves it .'

1/5  t 'I brought this last month when it came to building it we found problems dolls was too small for a big hole the screws didn't hold so I had to buy some bigger screws to put it up would not buy this again'

4/5  Cobcrazy 'All ready for springtime outdoor messy play in the back yard….'

5/5  GranGran6 'This was my two year old grandson’s Christmas gift. My husband put it together easily and treated it. Really impressed with end result. The weather hasn’t been ideal for him to play with it outside…. waiting for a bit of warm spring sunshine to enjoy the mud pies he will make.'

2/5  Carla71 'I bought this for my granddaughter for Christmas. Assembly was very difficult due to poor quality. Most of the pre drilled holes were too big which resulted in the screws provided not able to grip the wood, there was a chunk of wood missing where a screw hole was, again unable to put screw into place and also a screw hole in the wrong place which left me trying to put a screw in which was attaching to nothing so had to put the screw in a different place. I ended up having to use an adhesive to hold the thing together! I would have returned it but there is no store in my town to return it to and my granddaughter desperately wanted to play with it so had to improvise.'

4/5  Adam 'Happy with the purchase, especially with the value for money. Wasn’t too expensive. Could maybe do with a paint to protect it in the lovely Scottish weather otherwise does the job for the kids!'

5/5  Finbar 'Bought for my twin grandsons . Christmas present and they love it . Fab item, easy to assemble, sturdy .'

5/5  bob27722 'easy to assemble. good size and a the kids were really impressed with it. great value too'

4/5  Anne 'Bought for my sons christmas, perfect size for his room until he wants it outside in the summer. Only down point was half the screws were unusable and had to source my own'

5/5  Littlemiss 'Sterdy, easy to build, looks good, a good size for my 5 year old daughter and lots of fun for my little one and her friends. 5 ⭐ product! I Would definately recommend.'

4/5  JeanGenie 'Bought this for a Xmas present so not used yet. Just a little apprehensive about leaving it outdoors but looks good.'

1/5  Lydia 'I thought this would be perfect, however upon putting it together all of the pilot holes were in the wrong place, the dowels were too small for the holes made & the wood split when putting together. Thankfully due to my husband being very handy he was able to fix it enough for purpose as we didn't have time to find a replacement gift. I would not recommend this product unless you have time & patience to fix the many issues!'

1/5  Opsboss 'Bought this for our granddaughter. Pre drilled holes were all back to front and the wood is so light is would probably fly away in a soft breeze.'

5/5  Pch 'Bought this for grandsons 3rd B'day. Came as flat pack but was so easy to assemble. Completed article was so much better than the impression given by the picture.'

5/5  Kerry 'Great outdoor kitchen, grandson loves it, very sturdy, only problem the chalk board has gone bumpy in the rain, everything else is fine'

5/5  Fi 'Great quality, easy to build a good price. Toddler loves it!'

4/5  Kelza 'I purchased this for my grandson , easy to put together. I personalised it and bought some bits to add to it,to enhance his play. Excellent item for the price. Happy buyer and receiver :)'

5/5  Lolo369 'Very happy with this little mud kitchen. My children love it'

4/5  exeter123 'Great designed kitchen, but poor quality wood that didn’t fit together properly. After some effort was able to get it done, and my daughter loves it.'

5/5  Pete 'This was a present for my granddaughter, and was very well made, sturdy and easy to assemble, looks like it well last a while..very pleased with it.'

4/5  Den 'I bought this for my granddaughter so she can play kitchens outside during the summer. Easy to follow instructions for assembly each one has a letter on it (a to z) even a non-diyer like me fitted together within 30 minutes. Some of the wood seems similar to heavy duty balsa wood hopefully will last a while. I recommend varnishing to make water resistant. Overall a good product.'

5/5  mumsy 'We bought this for our grandson’s 2nd birthday, he loved it. Not bad value as mud kitchens seem to be pretty expensive. It came with a stainless steel bowl and a couple of utensils. It was great for him and his 3 year old brother but would be too small for children much older'

3/5  Kent 'We bought two of these. One was great - the other had a supporting leg missing! That meant we had to build one (time wasted) and couldn't return as it was being given as a gift the next morning. What a shame. Otherwise they are well used by the kids and didn't cost the earth'

5/5  Fishcake 'Fab! My 3 year old nephew loves this and spends hours outside in the garden playing on it. Well made and easy to assemble and safe for little hands as his 1 year old sister wants to join in. Fantastic buy.'

5/5  Liss 'Easy to put together really sturdy. My 3 year old loves it'

4/5  Lydl 'Took less time than expected to put together My son loves it.it’s fun and sturdy and kept him happy and entertained during the sunshine'

5/5  Jacky 'Can’t fault the kitchen'

5/5  Reidy 'I bought this for my son to use in the garden. The quality is so good we’ve kept it inside for the time being. Lovely size without being too big. Great quality and the wood is all rounded and sanded down week. Have a shelf and hooks and a shelf at the bottom which is great for storage. A great buy and would definitely recommend'
