I accept my grandson is slightly younger than the recommended age but I don’t think this would have made any difference to the durability of the item. We didn’t actually get to test it fully as it was so difficult to open the battery compartment, that we decided not to bother! The idea is good and had it been better designed and constructed it would be a great toy. Sadly had to return which was an easy process I have to say.'

There is also the additional feature of a microphone which the child can speak into and their voice is amplified. My son loves this toy and hasn't stopped playing with it since he got it.'

Couldn't find out where the battery compartment was so had to look on reviews for answer. I had to remove the base to fit the batteries as it is impossible to reach the screw with an ordinary screwdriver.Batteries fitted , the lights and sounds worked but the microphone is very poor and you can hardly hear your voice. It will keep my grandson occupied for a while but I fear it wont last long.'

Its a good size and the sound affects are good but you need to remember to get batteries as there not included like they are in similar products available. The 3 emergency cars will keep your kids entertained for a long time but they do have a budget feel but i doubt this will effect your kids enjoyment.'
