1/5  biff 'The train never stayed on the track, some of the wooden track had been replaced with plastic. Followed all instructions to the letter, but the train kept de railing. Expect quality from Chad Valley but sadly not this time. Returned to Argos for a full refund.'

Once you piece it altogether as per instructions there is a big design flaw. You may have two loops with bridge and tunnel etc but once the train goes around it is then stuck on the inner loop. Doesn’t matter which direction you go it’s stuck. Ended up binning half the bits and have one large loop.'

The first time it wouldn't switch on at all after putting the batteries in, the second worked but then stopped after a few hours, the third again wouldn't work at all and now the 4th is very intermittent. Starts and stops when it feels like it. I wouldn't recommend but would say that the table is good and maybe it should just have a wooden train to play with rather than the battery powered train.'
