The screws underneath screw into a plastic fitting that doesn't have a propper thread...it is firmly attached but too much wobble. Everything else is very well made, hence 4 stars'

After reading other reviewers' recommendations, I had this propped against a solid wall/furniture and supervised play only until he becomes more confident on his legs. A tip I would add is if your LO likes to pull on things when not quite developed their leg muscles, don't install the metal looping rods yet until they're older. It keeps the toy fresh further down the line too. My LO is still exploring the table a month since buying. Only criticisms I have are the wooden blocks with the drilled holes doesn't feel sanded down before being painted, to the point that when being cleaned with a damp cloth the paint was coming off very easily. My son is still at the stage of putting everything in his mouth. I had to sand down the holes with a very fine sandpaper (since the paint is coming off anyway)'

We've had it for 9 months now (my son is now 18 months old), he still plays with it and we've experienced no issues at all. Highly recommended toy, particularly if you value wood over plastic (as I do). On a side note, we've had a few Chad Valley products now, and am very impressed with the brand's value for money. Great for helping develop hand eye co-ordination and beginning to understand how things work. Also great for learning about shape, colour and counting. I'm sure he'll still be playing and learning with this for another couple of years at least. As he is just learning to stand I do supervise him. There is a possibility that it could tip over as he tries to balance himself by holding on to the plastic coated wires. Will be even better in another couple of months when he is standing and walking independently and won't try to use it to hold his weight while standing. There are so many great features on this toy I could write an essay!'

I bought this a few weeks ago for my then 9 month old who is standing and cruising. She loves the table. Even though its quite light weight and my daughter is tall for her age, she has never fallen or pulled the table down on top of her. When she first started pulling up on it, it would wobble because she used to much force to pull herself up. She quickly adjusted and learned to be careful and put her weight more on her feet than her arms when pulling up to play with it. Would definitely recommend this play table. Much more affordable and the more expensive once have similar features.'
