This coating is what helps highlight the change in colour from the area that are wet and areas that are dry, if it’s not on there it means you can really see what you have drawn. I had to send the item back in the end'

My granddaughter is not yet 2 years old and really loves her Aqua Mat. She plays with it most days and has really got the hamg of using the pen now. My furnishings are safe and I’m more than happy about this because before we had the aqua draw she would use crayons etc to draw on every thing but the paper I gave her, because the pens only mark the aqua mat she has stopped even trying to draw else where! Great idea!!!'
