Size and water capacity means that it’s impractical to fill just for a day or two, so locate somewhere it can remain for longer period. With this in mind, get a cover. Only slight problem is inflating - awkward valves that we could only use with a long nozzle football pump.'

Also the top ring and turtle appear to go flat whether it is or isn't in use so you have to keep inflating them! It took a long time to fill as it's really quite big, but the water weight supports the lower sides, so it's much needed. It was large enough for my (very tall) 10 and 5 year olds, so it's great for 2 bigger kids or even 3 kids under 5. There is a sprinkler that you can attach the hose to, which is an extra layer of fun for the kids.'

I was not prepared for the fact that only the rim, head and flippers inflate and that the pool walls stay up due to water pressure. This meant that we needed to fill it much fuller than I'd expected in order to enjoy it, which was fine, but a bit time-consuming. Still, super cute and I love how deep it can get - means that it's fun for older kids too!'

The water keeps the rest up but it took a while to fill it. My grankids are 8 and 3 and they both loved it. Its large enough for the 8 year old to lie in lengthways. It feels strong and due to the angle of the base the water doesnt all pour out when the kids lie on the rim which they did a few times. I would reccomend it.'
