The keyboard can work in "piano" mode or in "animals" mode. - Piano: the sound is very low quality but it works, you can for example play the lullaby and sing to it if you want. Kids can also swipe through the keys which is always fun to do and it works. It does not have polyphony though (i.e. you can't play two keys at once) but the response is very fast. Other than the pretty bad sound, it's really good for the price. - Animals: when you turn the dial into this mode you get the "old mc donald" song - only music, no singing - which actually sounds quite good. The song may be interrupted by playing any key. The keys match the sounds of the animals above them, there's two keys per animal and they each have slightly different sounds (e.g. different barks for the dog) which is nice. Amazingly, my baby loves the song and at only 4 months of age he was actually pouting if I gave him the keyboard without the song playing. I'm definitely going to record it on my phone for when he's bored in the car or something like that since it appears to soothe him. Finally the keyboard is very sturdy and has a nice volume (which cannot be controlled). Very much recommended.'
