Replaced batteries, opened the case checked for any rust, bad contact - all looking good. It's just the electric pump motor that has died... The only problem is this is the third one I have bought as the battery compartment seal wasn’t water tight in the first one so the batteries corroded and it stopped working. The second one inexplicably stopped working after 10-15 minutes. This one is OK so far but I have added tape over the battery compartment to try to stop water getting into the battery compartment. A friend has an older version of this and the battery compartment is on the top of the tap so it doesn’t sit under water and has lasted 6 months now. This was clearly a much better and more robust design, it’s a shame they changed it as I suspect the water will eventually get into the battery compartment of this one too as the seal just is not adequately water tight :('
